I decided that since the train was only $30.00 each way I would go to Washington DC as it wasn’t an overly huge distance from New York City.
This post talks about that part of the trip.

I decided about 4 months ago I wanted to go Stateside again (Duncan went to NYC and he inspired me to want to go back again).
I had a look for flights at a price I wanted to pay. I was lucky and found some. The catch: only a carry on bag was allowed and seat selection was for a fee.
I want to start off by saying how incredibly lucky I am that I get to travel as much as I do. I’m also fortunate that I can do it on a budget that doesn’t skint me. I also make no apologies that I am able to do this. My circumstances allow me to be […]
We’ve recently been watching a BBC show called Stephen Fry in America. Read his blog about it here. It has been quite interesting to watch his journey across America. Last nights show was quite different. He travelled from New Mexico to Utah to Arizona to Nevada and then on to California. I have to say […]

So, yesterday (being Saturday July 8th) the wife and I and the in-laws decided to go to Snowbird ski resort in Utah. It was good to go and see it, but we had such a hard time getting there. The car was chugging up the canyon at about 20 miles an hour. We finally made […]
So, we are now (I say now, I mean like 3 days ago) safe and well back from our ‘experience’ of New York. What an experience it was. We got to New York at 9:30. We queued up for a taxi for about 20 minutes. We finally got to the British Consulate General in New […]
Well, the time has come for myself and my wife to leave Pennsylvania. On June 8th we will be headed up to New York, New York to get her a visa for England. On June 12th we will be headed across country to get back to Utah. This will be a long old drive. It’s […]
