So, I have been back at work for roughly 2 weeks now and though I would write a post so you could see how it was going and how it has been for those 2 weeks.
I got to tell you, it’s been a weird 2 weeks that’s for sure. There have been some ups and some downs.
I have realised that after being away for 2 months, a customer facing role is not one that I want. I like the technical help aspect of the job, I just have a hard time with people. I don’t like to deal with people I don’t know.
I have realised that I would be a lot happier in a job where my only interaction was with a supervisor and one or two other work colleagues. I definately prefer to be working on my own.
I have always been a loner and I think I will continue to be one. I am trying to change and become a socialite again. I just don’t see it happening anytime soon.
Well, that is my update. I will post again in a couple of days as the next exercise in the workbook will be done then.
