I decided about 6 months before I was due to travel that I would love to see Asia and The Orient. I had a friend who had been to Hong Kong and told me how awesome it was.

I decided that I would book a trip to that part of the world and Seoul was the place that stood out to me. I also wanted to visit South Korea with the hopes of visiting either the DMZ or Panmunjom (The peace village with the blue huts where they hold bilateral talks as occasion permits).

There was so much I did there that it would make for an untidy post if I put it all in one post.

I have decided that I will split it as follows:

  • Palaces
  • DMZ
  • Bukchon Hanok Village
  • Seoul Sightseeing

This post will concentrate on the 4 palaces of Seoul.

Seoul Palaces Tip

Tickets are valid for 3 months from date of purchase and for a single entry to each palace
